TEHRAN -- Photographer Mohammadreza Tahmasbpur’s book “Italians and Photography in Iran” will be printed by the Qu Publications in the near future, the Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA) reported here on Wednesday.

The book highlights the Iranian photo history and Italians, who were among pioneer photographers in Iran and served the country during the Qajar dynasty as servicemen or government officials.

The work also focuses on the evolution of photography in Iran and provides the readers with some pictorial documents on the beginning of photography in Iran.

“Italians and Photography in Iran” was previously published in English as a long article in the Montabone Album printed by the International Qajar Studies Association (IQSA) in the Netherlands.

Tahmasbpur is also scheduled to deliver lectures at the centenary conference of the Iranian Constitutional Movement (1906-1911) at the University of Oxford from July 30 to August 2.
